CANCER AND PH

          Tonight I decided to make Lentil and quinoa dosa(crepes) with two different dips.Its been always a challenge for me to maintain our body pH eating cooked foods.Salad can help but  sometimes  I  get bored with it. So I thought the combination of food is the key as I am only worried about my net pH  after combining our foods. It should be fine to include our favourite acidic foods as long as the combined food surpasses the acidic nature of your favourite food. But why do we have to worry about balancing the pH????? Well to answer that question I should connect you all to my previous blog.
          We all know that Toxic overload  leads to cancer. I just thought of getting little deeper. Toxins causes lot of  physiological changes in our body of which pH change is almost instantaneous. As we all know that cancer and immunity is closely linked so is the immunity and pH of our body.The normal range of our blood pH  always should be maintained  closer to neutral , slightly alkaline(7.3 to 7.4) for our body to work at its peak . Since our body is programmed to keep up this pH  level it would try its best to draw the mineral stores from bones and muscles ,weakening the Skeletal and muscular system which may also lead to osteoporosis ,chronic muscle  pain etc ,considering these as only the side effects.But eventually even the stored levels cannot support the mineral requirements leading to acidosis. Sometimes chronic acidic conditions of the body can lead to cancer.
            The good news is the cancer cells can grow only in acidic environment or
 in other words ACIDITY BREEDS CANCER.  Since these cancer cells interestingly cannot multiply in alkaline environment I see this as one of the modes to prevent cancer growth.
    Here selection of food is very important as its little tricky. Some foods that are acidic in nature are absorbed alkaline in our body. For example there is a common misconception that citrus fruits like lemon and oranges are higly acidic. But these foods produce an alkaline ash when absorbed which in turn increases the overall pH of our body.Sugars though neutral in nature produces acidic ash.So its
really necessary to understand the kind of ash the food produces after digestion than the original
nature of the food.
    

As every problem has a solution so is our CANCER.....its totally under your control!!!!!

SNEAK PEAK on this food combination.
 LENTIL AND QUINOA DOSA(crepes)  WITH DIP:
 As we always eat crepes with filling this can be another way of eating them with dip.

To Prepare batter for DOSA.

1cup quinoa(soak this separate to remove excess saponins on the surface)
1 cup thoor dhal
1/2 cup black gram
1/2 cup split moong
soak them for couple of hours and grind them into a fine paste with 2 red chillies , a small piece of ginger and sea salt to taste.
Now preheat the flat pan and grease them with little oil.Spread the batter into a thin film on the pan and add little bit of oil to cook the crispy
crepes.Roll them while removing from the pan and serve it hot with these delicious dips.I always felt its interesting to eat crepes with multiple dips.

TO PREPARE DIPS......

FRESH VEGE DIP
make rough chops with
2 carrots
1 red bell pepper
1 big chunk ginger
1 cup cilantro
1 cup curry leaves
1/2 cup grated coconut
season them with mustard,black gram and red chillies ,1/4 tsp turmeric  all spluttered in oil.Grind them all raw into a semisolid paste with little bit of sea salt.
Now mince these too.
1 avocado
2 cucumbers
mix them into the paste and add  fresh lemon juice.
SPICY ALMOND DIP
1/2 cup almonds
1/4 cup coriander seeds
2 red chillies
2 tsp split chick peas
1/2 pinch of asofotida
Grind them all dry into a coarse powder and mix it with olive oil while eating.
 Nutritious and crunchy dips are ready.The crepes are acidic and the dip is alkaline.This is a perfect combination to keep your PH close to neutral or slightly alkaine.
NOTE.The crepes can be made from any kind  of lentil and also fermented for better digestion and taste.

LETS FIGHT CANCER!!!

                     My heart wept when I read  that the popular Hollywood  actress chose to undergo double mastectomy to prevent her breast cancer.When there are number of natural ways to prevent and cure cancer why do they have to disfigure themselves??? Could a little bit of awareness lure them to natural cure? She blames her genes...but as a matter of fact everyone are born with cancer cells.. not everyone gets cancer.While there are plenty of reasons for that I would first focus on STRESS

Lets see...

Its high time for this stressful modern world to understand that the organs and emotions are connected...as we know stress is always manifested  by anger,fear,frustration and lack of energy.

The emotions are so linked to the organs that the FEAR cuts down the energy flow
to kidneys.The ANGER uses up the liver energy(blocking both the organ for detoxification)...accumalating filthy toxins in our body reducing the lymphatics to perform at its peak....over the period the immune system weakens as the  overly processed food of this modern world doesnt allow the system to replenish the lost nutrients nor remove the toxin.. allowing toxic overload and  the damage is chronically done at the DNA level...leading to cancer.

The conventional treatments has sowed seeds for fear and anxiety that the lymphatics  stops to function even before the cancer hits the brain.

To begin with lets  start on a good detox salad....PREFRABLY ORGANIC...

MUNG BEAN SPROUT SALAD

1 CUP MUNG BEAN SOAKED AND SPROUTED.......it cleans the GI tract toxin
1 cup beets diced........purifies blood toxins
1 cup raspberry..........antioxidants to remove free radical toxin
1 cup cilantro chopped...to remove metal toxin especially mercury
1/2 cup avacado.......To lubricate intestinal walls for a better toxin removal

TO GARNISH
1tsp...flax seed oil...functions same as avacados
1tsp minced garlic.....enhances the liver enzymes for the detoxification reaction.
sea salt for taste...NO TABLE SALT....ONLY SEA SALT   supplies closer to  80 different  trace  minerals and IMPROVES BODY pH TO SLIGHTLY ALKALINE.
1/2 TSP Cumin powder....to  enhance digestion.
1 big lemon ...for a better absorption.

Toss them all together for a colorful yummy salad..
